Option 1 - Internal Dc Supply
If you plan to use the transmitter's internal 15 V supply as the source for the remote inputs (1 through
10), the type of connections to the control/interface PWB (A4) are shown in
Figure 1.8.1 .
When the remote input is configured for ‘falling edge’ or ‘active low’ logic, a logic low command
(current-sink-to-ground) must be applied to the appropriate remote input (1 through 10). To avoid a
ground loop, obtain the ground from the appropriate pin of J6A (see
Table 1.8.2 on page 1.8.7 ). When
the remote input is configured for ‘rising edge’ or ‘active high’ logic, a logic high command (open
circuit) must be applied to the appropriate remote input (1 through 10).

The momentary switch should be located between a ground source on the control/interface PWB and
the remote input.
