Analog Outputs - Front Panel UI

Using the 

Analog Outputs

 screens (see 

Figure 3.2.157 on page 3.2.172

), you can view the levels of 

four pre-defined analog outputs that are representative of critical transmitter parameters - forward 
power, reflected power, B+ voltage and total dc current.

Nautel sets analog output defaults prior to shipping. There are no configuration options. They are for 
monitoring purposes only. See the NX5 Pre-installation Manual for details.

Use the up and down buttons to select the desired analog output (1 through 4) from the list. Press 
cancel (

X

) to return to the previous menu. Each screen shows:

Line 1: displays the analog output parameter (e.g., 1: Forward Pwr, 2: Refl Power, B+ Sample 
or Total DC Current) and its voltage relationship to the actual unit of measure [i.e. square law 
(sq) or linear (lin)].

Line 2: displays the actual meter reading and the full-scale reading

Line 3: displays the actual output pin voltage and the full-scale voltage (6.00 V).

NOTE

: The analog output’s 

Output

 voltage reading reflects the value that can be measured at the 

associated remote analog output pin for the given 

Meter

 value. See the Pre-installation Manual for 

actual remote analog output pin assignments.
