Repair Procedures

Disconnecting the heater control relay

Remove and save the two screws that secure the relay to the heatsink, then 

remove the old relay.

To install the new heater relay:

1

Coat the contact surface of the heatsink with a thin, uniform layer of heatsink 

compound.

Place the new relay with terminals 2 and 4 toward the front of the device (for 

Model 43, see wiring diagram 700199; for Model 44, see wiring diagram 

700203).

3

Attach the wires to the heater control relay (see page A-1).

Insert the front cover, then tighten the screws just inside the Drier door.

5

Plug in the power cord, then press the power switch to the 

ON

 (|) position.

Test the device for proper operation (see page 2-4).
