
Next,
Select the RECORD
icon on the Monitor interface at the
bottom right hand corner.
An onscreen keyboard will pop-up for Patient Record ID, Last Name,
and First Name. Type the patient information in the appropriate
field.
Touch NEXT
to proceed to the electrode configuration screen
On the next screen Select the
3 lead cross channel
electrode
configuration.
And
Press START RECORDING
to begin the study.
The device will run a DAB selftest
It is important at this point now to check the signal quality as Good signal quality is required
for accurate monitoring of brain activity
Signal Icon

GREEN
means GOOD signal quality,
indicating all electrodes are below 10 kΩ and
electrode contact is good.
Signal Icon
–
YELLOW
means marginal signal
quality and electrode contact and one or more
electrodes is above 10 kΩ, yet below a 20 kΩ
threshold
Signal Icon
–
RED
means poor signal quality and
an electrode has exceeded 20 kΩ,
