25.2.2.13 Settings for the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES Keyboards (1–4)
In the
Preferences
window the pages for the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-SERIES keyboards offer
the following settings:
LEDs Section
Description
On-State Brightness
slider
Sets the brightness for the On state of the
TRANSPOSE
(
OCT-
and
OCT+
),
TRANSPORT
, and
PRESET
buttons on your
keyboard.
Off-State Brightness
slider
Sets the brightness for the Off state of the
TRANSPOSE
(
OCT-
and
OCT+
) and
TRANSPORT
buttons on your keyboard. (The
PRESET
buttons are not affected since they are always on.)

Expression Pedal Section
Description
Recalibrate
button
Allows you to recalibrate the
EXPRESSION
input. Click
Recalibrate
to start the calibration process, then follow the
on-screen instructions.
Invert Range
checkbox
Some expression pedals internally support the inverted pedal
range but cannot be configured on the pedal directly. The
Invert Range
function allows you to invert the range of the
expression pedal connected to the KOMPLETE KONTROL S-
SERIES keyboard.
Swap Tip/Ring
checkbox
(KOMPLETE KONTROL S88
second revision only)
Allows you to use expression pedals with inverted tip/ring
connectivity.
The
Sustain Pedal
section described below is only available when using the third revi-
sion of the KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 keyboard. If you have another version of the key-
board, please use the
EXPRESSION
input for half-damper sustain pedal functionality as
described in the following Knowledge Base article:
