5.2

Software Installation

To change the register settings, install the EVM software on a host PC and install a USB2ANY interface
adapter to connect the host PC to the EVM hardware (

Figure 2

). To download the latest version of the

EVM software:

Go to the TPS65132L product folder on the TI Web site (

http://www.ti.com/product/tps65132

)

Download the software zip file

Unzip the file

Run the program

setup.exe

(TI recommends uninstalling existing versions of the EVM software before

installing a new one)

After installing the software, an icon with the name TPS65132 EVM in on the desktop of the host
computer. If this icon is not seen, browse the program files in the Start menu for the software. The default
location is

Connect the USB2ANY interface adapter to the host computer and then start the software. If the system
asks to update the firmware in the interface adapter, follow the on-screen instructions until the update is
complete.
