To install the SCXI-1141/1142/1143 module in an SCXI chassis, follow
these steps while referring to Figure 2-1:
1.
Turn off the computer that contains the DAQ device or disconnect it
from the SCXI chassis.
2.
Turn off the SCXI chassis.
Caution
Do
not
insert the SCXI-1141/1142/1143 module into a chassis that is turned on.
3.
Insert the SCXI-1141/1142/1143 module into an open slot in the SCXI
chassis. Gently guide the module into the slot guides and push it to the
back of the slot until the front face of the module is flush with the front
of the chassis.
4.
Insert any other SCXI modules into the remaining slots in the same
manner as described in step 3.
5.
Secure all the SCXI modules to the SCXI chassis using both
thumbscrews.
