Step 2: Connect the Drive Command Signals to the UMI-7764
Complete the following steps to connect the Drive Command signals to the UMI-7764.
1.
Connect the SMD-7620/7621 X1/STEP-terminal (pin 2) to the Motion I/O terminal block
STEP (CW)1 terminal.
2.
Connect the SMD-7620/7621 X2/DIR- terminal (pin 4) to the Motion I/O terminal block
DIR (CCW)1 terminal.
3.
Connect the SMD-7620/7621 X1/STEP+ terminal (pin 1) and the SMD-7620/7621
X2/DIR+ terminal (pin 3) wire to the Motion I/O terminal block +5V terminal.
