The settings of the base I/O address, the interrupt line, and the DMA
channel to which the GPIB-PCIIB was configured at the factory are suitable
for most computer systems. These default settings must exactly match the
software configurations in the NI-488 software.
Switch and Jumper Settings
Table 2-1 shows the factory settings and optional configurations for the
switches and jumpers on the GPIB-PCIIB.

If your computer is an IBM PC, PC/XT, or PC AT, the base address must
be set higher than hex 200 or the computer will not recognize your
GPIB-PCIIB board. Base addresses below hex 200 may work on some
compatibles.
