The power-on default is that
for both cases
is disabled.
If you call xon without an argument, the GPIB-MAC
returns to you the current settings. (l=protocol enabled,
O=protocol disabled)
Examples:
1. PRINT
‘Enable GPIB-MAC
‘protocol for TX and RX.
2. PRINT
‘Disable protocol on TX;
‘enable protocol on RX
3. PRINT
Return current settings.
response:
(transmit protocol disabled,
receive protocol enabled)
4. PRINT
“XON
‘Disable
on RX, keep
‘current setting on TX.
