LED Indicators
The FP-1600 has seven LED indicators: POWER, PROCESS, STATUS,
TX, RX, 100 Mbps, and LINK. Figure B-1 shows the LEDs on the
FP-1600.
Figure B-1.
LEDs on the FP-1600
The green POWER LED is lit while the FP-1600 is powered up. This LED
indicates that the power supply connected to the FP-1600 is acceptable, and
that the FP-1600 is supplying power to the I/O modules.
The red STATUS LED is lit when the FP-1600 detects an error. The
FP-1600 indicates specific error conditions by flashing STATUS a specific
number of times. Table B-1 describes the STATUS LED flashing
sequences and the corresponding error condition.
The green PROCESS LED lights when you update the non-volatile flash
memory of the FP-1600, either by changing its network settings, saving
channel settings or power-up values, or by upgrading its firmware.
Caution
Do not power down the FP-1600 while the PROCESS LED is lit.
The green TX LED is lit when the FP-1600 transmits data over the
Ethernet.
