If you select
Small target with external file for subVIs
in
the Build
Options pane, you cannot change the
LLB for other files
path because this
path is determined from the
Application Path
setting in
Network
Options
. Refer to the

section for more information about accessing and using
RT
Target Options
.
Source Files and VI Settings Tabs
Use the
Source Files
and
VI Settings
tabs the same way you do to build a
LabVIEW RT application when LabVIEW RT is targeted to the host PC.
Refer to the
LabVIEW Help
for more information about the
Source Files
and
VI Settings
tabs.
Caution
Do
not
add the file
serpdrv
to your application in the
Source Files
tab.
The serial port driver is installed on the cFP-20
xx
with the RT Engine. Manually adding
serpdrv
to your application adds the Windows driver, which is not compatible with the
LabVIEW RT Engine on the cFP-20
xx
.
Application Settings and Installer Settings Tabs
The
Application Settings
and
Installer Settings
tabs are disabled when
you target LabVIEW RT to the cFP-20
xx
because these settings do not
apply to applications embedded on the controller.
Launching Embedded Applications at Startup
The RT Engine can launch your embedded application each time you start
up the cFP-20
xx
. Complete the following steps to launch the embedded
application each time the cFP-20
xx
starts up:
1.
Target LabVIEW RT to the cFP-20
xx
. Refer to the
section for more information about targeting
LabVIEW RT to the cFP-20
xx
.
2.
Select
Tools»RT Target Options
.
3.
Select
RT Target: Miscellaneous
from the pull-down menu.
4.
Select
Launch Application at Boot-up
.
5.
Click
OK
.
