Screw the front panel of the CPCI-GPIB to the front panel mounting
rail of the system.
6.
Turn on your system and start Windows NT.
The CPCI-GPIB installation is now complete. Proceed to the Install the
Software section later in this chapter.
Install the PMC-GPIB
Warning:
Electrostatic discharge can damage several components on these GPIB
boards. To avoid such damage in handling your board, touch the
antistatic plastic package to a metal part of your system chassis before
removing the board from the package.
1.
Make sure that your system is turned off.
2.
Find an unused PMC slot in your system. You may need to remove
the host from the system to access the PMC slot.
3.
Remove the corresponding slot filler panel from the host.
