If you are using LabWindows/CVI, the software installation instructions are in Part 1,
Introduction to LabWindows/CVI, of the Getting Started with LabWindows/CVI manual. After
you have installed LabWindows/CVI, refer to Chapter 1, Configuring LabWindows/CVI, of the
LabWindows/CVI User Manual for software configuration instructions.
Analog I/O Configuration
At startup, the DAQCard-700 defaults to the following configuration:

Referenced single-ended input mode

Table 2-1 lists the available analog I/O configurations for the DAQCard-700 and shows the
default settings.

The analog input circuitry is software configurable.

Connections, including power signals to ground and vice versa, that exceed any
of the maximum signal ratings on the DAQCard-700 can result in damage to the
DAQCard-700 card. National Instruments is

Analog Input Mode
The DAQCard-700 has two different input modes–referenced single-ended (RSE) input and
differential (DIFF) input. The single-ended input configuration provides 16 channels. The DIFF
input configuration provides eight channels. Table 2-2 describes these configurations.
