ACCESSING THE DRIVE PLATE, DRIVE KEY, AND GREASE SEAL
•
Remove tool plate and coupling by removing two 3/4” bolts (Figure 15).
•
Remove the drive plate by removing 1-7/16” lock nut (Figure 16).
Replacing a Damaged Key
If the drive plate won’t spin, the key is likely damaged. Complete the above steps to gain
access to the key and check for damage (Figure 17). Replace if damaged or contact NFE for
further assistance.
