This supplement contains installation and operation information that is unique to the 802-006 Switch
Panel. Installation and operation information common to the 802 base unit can be found in the
SM802
Installation and Operation Manual.
Note: The information in this manual supplement was previously contained in Equipment Manual:
Component Maintenance Data, document number 802-16-006.
Section 1 Description
The 802-006 is identical to the 802-009 with the following exceptions:
a)
Changes to the faceplate can be found by comparing Figure 1 to Figure 2.

b) The PA Volume control has been replaced by the CALL (momentary) switch.
c) The front panel TCN switch/volume potentiometer controls the ON/OFF switching and
volume of two internal multiplexer circuits labelled ADF2 and MKR2 on the 802-009
drawing.
d) The Push-To-Talk switch has been added to the 802-006 front panel in addition to the
original rear panel connection at P1.
e) The BRIEFER volume adjustment is not installed.
