1  Safety Warnings

Read all safety warnings and instructions!
Failing to follow the safety warnings and instruc‑

tions may result in fire, injury by electric current

and/or serious injuries.

Keep the safety warnings and instructions safe for future use.

•  The heated jacket must not be used by children younger than

three years of age, persons dependent on others, persons

insensitive to heat or persons with poor blood circulation.

Children older than three years of age may use the jacket

only once a parent or other custodian makes the necessary

settings or sufficiently explains how to use it safely.

•  If you find that wearing the product causes some of the

symptoms below, immediately take it off and consult a doc-

tor. Otherwise, there is a risk of exhaustion from heat or

heatstroke.

  Initial symptoms:

–  any feeling of weakness; excessive sweating; pain at the back

of the neck; nausea; dizziness or faintness

  Symptoms of exhaustion from heat/heatstroke:

–  nausea and vomiting; throbbing headache; dizziness and

faintness; anhidrosis (absence of sweat); red, hot and dry

skin; muscle weakness or cramps; palpitations; fast, shallow

breathing; changes in behaviour, e.g. confusion, disorienta-

tion or staggering walk; loss of consciousness

•  To prevent heatstroke, turn off the heating when you enter

a noticeably warmer environment.

•  Do not wear during pregnancy.
•  Do not wear if you suffer from problems resulting in sensitivi-

ty to overheating, or if you have a medical device implanted.

Ask your doctor and/or the manufacturer of the medical de-

vice whether you can wear this heated piece of clothing.

•  Never wear the heated jacket when the lining is wet.
•  The heaters should not come into contact with bare skin.
•  Do not use the cable with the connector for other purposes,

e.g. carrying the jacket, pulling at the jacket or removing the

power bank from the pocket. The cable must not come in the

vicinity of oil, sharp objects or moving parts. Do not sharply

bend the cable. A faulty heater or cable with connector may

cause the jacket to malfunction and increases the risk of fire

or injury by electric current.

•  The heated jacket is not suitable for medical use, e.g. in

hospitals.

•  If you find that the jacket has been used improperly, do not

use the jacket and send it in for servicing to Narex s.r.o.

•  Handle all labels and name tags with care. They include im-

portant information. If the information is no longer legible or

is missing, contact a service centre of Narex s.r.o.

•  If the clothes are hot, do not fold them or place any objects on

them. A faulty heater or cable with connector may cause the

jacket to malfunction and increases the risk of fire or injury by

electric current.

•  Let the jacket cool down before you store it.
•  Regularly check the jacket for wear and tear or damage. If the

jacket shows signs of wear or damage, improper use or mal-

function, do not use the jacket.

•  Minor stains or dirt may be cleaned with a moistened cloth
