6.3 Proper disposal (EU only)
Disposal of the unit
This Narda product is a high quality device that can be expected to last a
long time. Nevertheless, this device will also reach the end of its service
life at some point. Please note that electrical devices must be disposed
of properly.
The Narda devices comply with the European Union's WEEE Directive
(2012/19/EU) and fall into Category 9 (Monitoring and Control
Instruments).
The symbol of the crossed-out waste bin indicates that this device may
not be disposed of in household waste at the end of its service life. Free
collection points for waste electrical and electronic equipment return are
available in your area. You can obtain the addresses from your city or
municipal administration.
As a manufacturer, we also offer you to take back the device free of
charge, and take care of the environmentally friendly disposal.

Disposing of batteries
Batteries contain hazardous chemicals. Normal handling does not cause
any damage to the environment.
After use, batteries may never be disposed of with residual waste, but
only with an approved return system. The end-user is legally obliged to
return used batteries!
Batteries can be returned to the point of sale free of charge after use.

There is a risk of fire and burns if the battery is
handled improperly.
Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short
external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water.
Do not attempt to open or service the battery.
Replace only with the battery designated for this
product.
