Use the New Rule window to create a new firewall rule. From the Outgoing Firewall screen
(refer to Figure 32), select ADD. The New Rule screen displays, which will allow you to block or
allow packets based on protocols, IP addresses, and ports.
NOTE: The Quicksilver modem has been shipped

protect users from inadvertent background processes running which will
waste airtime and incur excessive overage charges.
