The subwoofer is heavy. Attach it firmly to a solid thick baffle-board.
Do not continuously use the speaker system beyond the peak power handling capacity.
Keep credit cards, watches, recorded tapes etc. with magnetic coding away from the speaker

system to prevent damage caused by the magnets in the speakers.

Clean the apparatus with soft, damp cloth. Never use substances such as alcohol, chemicals or

household cleaners on the apparatus.

Important

You can mount the subwoofer on the rear tray.

    ★

Set the wiring firmly on the floor of the

vehicle, taking the utmost care not to break wires
while installing.

Option 1: Mount on rear tray

Turn off the car ignition key.

If the power is on, the click noise generated by the connection may damage the subwoofer.

Cut out the mounting template from the packing box and paste it onto the location selected for
mounting the subwoofer.
Mark the cut-off hole and the 8 bolt holes.
Cut out the marked area and drill the bolt holes.

Installation

Connect the subwoofer to the amplifier.

 The impedance

o

f the units are related with

how to connect. Make sure that the output
impedance of the amplifier’s speaker terminal
is relevant with connection. (Refer to “How to
complete the wiring”.)

Consult the diagram. Be sure to connect

corresponding terminals, i.e. “+” to “+” and “-”
to “-”. Connection with reversed polarity will
degrade the quality of reproduction.

Note: The SureSet  feature utilizes standard mini automotive ATC fuses to select between series or parallel voice-coil

operation (DVC only). The fuses also provide voice-coil protection under transient conditions such as accidental
momentary overdrive. The fuses will not protect against voice-coil failure resulting from long term high power abuse.
