Tool Use
When inserting the Nailfire fuel cell, make sure
the valve stem is properly aligned with the small
orifice.
Close the fuel cell cover.
Insert the strip of nails from the rear into the
magazine.
Pull the feeder shoe back behind the strip of nails
and push it forward again together with the nails.
The tool has a safety lock-out feature, which
leaves a few fasteners in the magazine and will
not actuate.
Push the safety device against the work surface
to initiate the fuel cell valve for the first time.
The fan starts simultaneously. Lift off the device
and repeat the process. Note: Every new fuel
cell must first be initiated.
With the tool against the work surface, squeeze
the trigger. A spark ignites the fuel/air mixture.
The combustion powers the piston assembly and
drives the fastener.
