Preparation of the working area
Place the contents of the package on the grass near where you are going to place the docking station
(Fig. 4)
.
Fig. 4
Docking station positioning:
Start by placing the dock both on the sketch and in your garden
within a reasonable distance from the power outlet as the dock's
power cord is 15 meters long.
The docking station must be placed on a solid, flat surface.
Avoid placing the docking station:
in the corner of the lawn,
in low-lying areas where the docking station or the robot
may be damaged by puddles,
on a slope,
under a tall tree due to the risk of lightning.
Fig. 5
Important! The docking station and cables must not be wet or damp. Damp power cords can cause an electric
shock.
Leave a clear space of 2 m in front of the docking station without obstruction to ensure that the robot can return to the docking station without
problems. A free space of 1 m behind the docking station is required.
Rules for laying the boundary wire:
The boundary wire must be connected without gaps or crossings. The cable included in the set is 100 m long.
The distance between the stakes for securing the limiting wire must not be greater than 0.7 m
(Fig. 7)
.
Never make perpendicular (90 °) corners. The corners must be opened more than 90 °, the optimal angle is 135 °
(Fig. 3)
.
The boundary wire must be placed 35 cm from the edge of the lawn, and not less than 10 cm if the adjacent
surface is level (e.g. cobblestones).
In the case of soft edges, e.g. bushes or other vegetation, leave 35 cm as the robot may jam
