How to verify that your Mi Band is genuine
1. Mi logo should be displayed on: outer packaging, manual
and the back of the device
2. The strap should have “Designed by Xiaomi” in scripted
on it
3. Scan the QR code on the manual to verify, the manual
should also ask you to download the “Mi Fit” app, any
manual asking you to download any other apps means the
item is fake
4. When paired with phone, the Firmware name should be
“Mi”
5. The Mi Band should be water proof, allowing you to
shower with it. Please note that this miband is not made
for diving, bathing or swimming
