Concealed Shower Valve Installation
I
MPORTANT: Before fitting the mixer, flush pipes thoroughly. Do not allow dirt, metal particles or
shavings to block inlets. Once this is done, turn off water supply.
1. The Valve should be installed with the water outlet to the bottom and the cold inlet to the right (indicated by a
blue dot). Prepare hot and cold inlet pipes (15mm) with centres 150mm apart, cold supply to the right. For the
mixer, create a hole in wall surface no greater than 110mm, which is smaller than the diameter of the Wall
plate. The valve concealing cavity should be a depth of 50-60mm.
Important: for water inlet pipes, leave a
minimum of 10 mm exposed pipework from finished wall surface.
2. Fit elbows with sealing washer loosely to the tap body.
3. Centre wall bracket between pipe ends and mark drill holes.
4.
Important - Use appropriate fixings suitable for wall type/construction.
See Safety Note overleaf. Drill holes to suit wall type/construction and required fixings (Use wall plugs
supplied as required).
5. Position wall bracket on wall and insert screws and tighten, but not fully.
6. Push mixer body onto wall bracket and twist to engage lugs. It may require some manoeuvring to ensure
vertical alignment of the mixer body.
7. Mark position of wall bracket on mounting area within wall cavity. Remove mixer body from wall bracket and
re-align as marked, then tighten screws holding wall bracket and re-fit mixer body.
8. Secure elbows to inlet pipe ends using fixing nuts and copper olives and tighten securely.
