TIPS AND TRICKS
○
Not all meat or
fi
sh is the same.
The
fl
avour is dependent on lots of
different factors
–
the type, origin,
fi
shing method, rearing of the animal
and so on ... The rule when grilling is
therefore: Quality over quantity! As you
also can and should enjoy grilled meat
and grilled
fi
sh on its own or with just
a few herbs and spices, it is well worth
spending a bit more money when you
make your choice.
○
The grilled result is also dependent on
the size and thickness of the meat or
fi
sh
–
here you should always have a
look from time to time during the grill-
ing process to see whether the chosen
settings also perfectly suit this piece of
meat or
fi
sh.
○
When you are grilling round foodstuffs,
such as sausages, corn on the cob
etc., the grilling process usually takes a
little longer owing to the small contact
surface. We recommend turning the
food 90° one or two times so that it is
deliciously seared all the way round.
○
If you are grilling several times in quick
succession, we recommend giving the
grill plates a rough clean with a brush
in between times to prevent any food
from burning into them and also pre-
vent too much smoke being produced.
○
You should only season meat or
fi
sh
after the grilling process so that the
herbs or spices do not burn on the grill
and thus alter the
fl
avour.
