Make sure that you have earphones connected and you have pressed
the play button for two seconds.
The Music Lock needs to be charged for about four hours.
All the tracks from my CD player are not being recorded while
Abbee is in CD Recording Mode.
CD mode only records audio tracks that are less than 8 minutes and
have a 2 second audio silence between tracks. It is possible that two
tracks could be recorded into one track if there is no audio silence
between the tracks.
For live CDs, we recommend using the “Manual Record” feature.
The sound of recordings from my external player sounds bad.
If you’re external player has a volume control, try adjusting the volume
down if the recordings sound garbled.
If you are using a turntable, you may need to use a phono/line pre-
amplifier converter before you can connect your turntable to Abbee.
(The phono/line pre-amplifier converter is not included.)
Abbee recorded a commercial.
The PopCatcher technology knows the difference between songs and
commercials. However as this technology is based on the acoustic audio
properties, it is possible to record a commercial on occasion.
Note during manual recordings, commercials are recorded.
Abbee recorded a partial song and cut out during a quiet
part of the song
It is possible that if a song has a long silence or break, Abbee may think
it is two separate songs. If you are recording from a CD, you can use
Manual Recording to correctly record a song with a break.
I docked my Music Lock on Abbee and it didn’t sync?
If sync doesn’t happen automatically, try docking again. Also try turning
off the Abbee with the power switch, wait a few seconds, and turn
on again. Sometimes if the Music Lock is removed before the transfer
is complete or during a recording the Abbee may require a restart by
turning it off and on.
