Before starting the installation, you should decide the location for all

components of the speaker system.
This can be the door of the vehicle, the dashboard or rear parcel shelf.  You

may also choose to make custom mounts for the speakers as the best results

can often be obtained by using MDF baffle rings.

The woofer can be used with or without the grill which allows you to mount

it in the factory locations where compatible.  If you are custom mounting the

woofer you should use the supplied grill to protect the cone from damage.

Please ensure that wherever you choose to mount the woofer you have

adequate clearance at the rear and that it does not foul any mechanism for

the window or central locking motor.  Also please ensure that if it is being

mounted in a door that the window will move freely up and down to its fullest

extent.
When you have chosen your mounting location you will need to cut out a hole

with either a jigsaw or a router.  The cutout size for the 4” is 95mm for the

5.25” it is 113mm and for the 6.5” it is 146mm.
Once the hole is cut please trial fit the woofer to ensure clearance at the rear

and also at this time you can mark the holes for the screws.
Remove the woofer and drill out the mounting screw holes.
You can then mount the woofer and grill assembly and secure it complete with

the supplied screws.

The tweeter comes supplied with two different housing which allow you to

mount it in a wide variety of locations.

Using the flush mount housing will allow you to mount the tweeter flush to

either the door panel or other flat surface.
Once you have chosen your mounting location for the tweeter you should

again check for clearance at the rear of the panel to allow the tweeter to sit

flush.
