No naked flame

following environmental range :

This Hi-Fi product has been tested to ensure that its operation is not adverse-
ly affected by normal background levels of Radio Frequency Interference
(R.F.I.), and that it does not itself generate excessive amounts of interference.
However, if a problem persists, please contact your Musical Fidelity agent.

Never open the case of the X-10 V

yourself, as this will invalidate the guar-

antee.  There are no user adjustments inside.  Please refer all service work to
an authorised Musical Fidelity agent.

Connections

All connections should be made before the mains adaptor is plugged in.

Using good quality RCA leads (not supplied), connect the left and right
outputs from your CD player or other audio source to the X-10 V

LINE

INPUT sockets.  The

LOOP OUTPUT sockets are simply duplicates of

the

LINE INPUT, and are directly connected internally.  This is to allow

further connection to other audio equipment if required.

Now connect your X-10 V

3

left and right

OUTPUTS to the CD or auxil-

iary inputs of your amplifier system.

Input from CD player

or other audio source

Optional output to other

audio equipment

AC inlet from

mains adaptor

Connect to amplifier

Plug the AC connector lead from the power supply unit into the X-10 V

3

’s

inlet socket, and plug the power supply itself into a convenient wall mains
outlet.  The blue LED on the front panel will light to confirm the unit is
ready for use.  Allow a minute or so for the valves (tubes) to warm up, then
sit back and enjoy the music.

This product has been designed so that it may be left on indefinitely, but
please note that the mains adapter may become warm to the touch - this is
normal.
