Now with the panel holding
everything correctly aligned finally
solder all the pots, switches, jacks
and LEDs.
Double check all solder joints! There
are
45
to do all at once.
You are now finished soldering. Shut
off your iron!
Green Rotary switch
– 7 solder
joints
Red Toggle switch
– 3 solder joints
Green Pot
– 5 solder joints
Blue Pot
– 5 solder joints
LEDs
– 10 solder joints in total
Jacks
– 15 solder joints in total

Next you will remove the metal panel
and fit the two remaining IC’s
required on this PCB as shown.
NOTE
– Orientation is vital!
NOTE!
You will need to bend the
pins on the IC inwards slightly so
they are at 90 degrees to the body of
the chip. They will come slightly
splayed out. This can be done safely
by clasping the 4 pins in a pair of
pliers (not the cutting edge near the
pivot joint though!) and very gently
bending inwards together. Repeat for
the other side.
