Programming Manual SONIC
Format of an exported style in MIDI format
Important note: The exported style contains header information and the actual notes. Of course, you can
also change the header information in the MIDI file. However, we recommend that you change this data
within SONIC using the corresponding display fields.
The actual notes are preceded by two bars in which the header information is housed.
Illustration of an ACC track, which is divided into two pattern major / minor and separate seventh.
All initialization parameters are saved in the first bar. First of all, the part name, the part length and values
for octavelage and velocity appear. Furthermore, the sound, volume and panorama used, the effects reverb,
chorus, echo and other controllers.
In the next bar you will see the information about the name of the first pattern and the conditions under
which the pattern is playing. As already written, it is better to change these values on your instrument and
not in the MIDI file.
