Table of audio indicator cues
Beep
Button tap confirmation (<2 sec). This sound is confirmation every time a
button is pressed.
Double
beep
Medium button hold confirmation (2-6 sec) indicating button programming
was successful. This applies to all programmable buttons.
Triple beep
Long button hold confirmation (
9+ seconds) indicating removal of current
programming of station button. This applies to all programmable buttons.
“Cart ready”
This audio cue indicates MARC has booted and is ready for use.
“Calculating”
This audio cue indicates the route is being planned and movement will begin
momentarily.
“Arrived”
Cart has arrived at the destination.
“Map saved”
Save of the map is complete.
“Map deleted”
Deletion of the map is complete.
“Out of mapped area”
MARC is in Fixed Map Mode and is not in the mapped area. See
modes: Active Map and Fixed Map modes
on page
“Entering mapped area” MARC is in Fixed Map Mode and has now been pushed into a previously
mapped area.
“Cannot set destination
here”
MARC is in Fixed Map Mode and has been moved out of its mapped area.
Desti
nations cannot be set outside the mapped area.
“Route abandoned”
Cart was unable to reach the destination. Generally, this would be caused by
an object blocking MARC from reaching its destination.
“Route canceled”
A button was pressed by the operator (cancels process) while the cart was
moving toward a destination. In this case, a destination button must be
pressed a second time. If a check engine light has been detected during a
route, this can also result in the “Route canceled” cue without user
intervention. This will then display the cause of the trouble light.
“Battery low”
Battery charge level is low (repeats in 30 second intervals). Critical battery
level also
includes LED lights alternating colors
(red, green, blue).
Triple “multi-tone” beep Obstacle in path or recalculating route to destination.
