hen the lens that detects dust becomes dirty with moisture, nicotine from cigarettes etc, it 

reduces the level of sensitivity. Please clean it regularly as shown below,       vacuum the 
surrounding dust with a vacuum cleaner,       remove dirt with a dry cotton bud.

ecommended cleaning every 3 months.
