Initial use of the watch
Prior to initial use of the watch, you should wind the
watch by hand. This ensures a sufficient power reserve
for the watch to continue running precisely after the
exact setting of the second hand. Here is how you
wind your watch:
Turn the crown at 4:00 o'clock 55 to 60 times
clockwise or in the direction of 12 o'clock when it is
in the winding position 0 (also see page 3).
Now the date and time can be set.
