When using electrical appliances, basic 
safety precautions should always be 
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric 
hazard and injury to persons, including the 
following:

HOW TO USE

Before operating your new appliance, 
please read all instructions carefully and 
keep for future reference.

For household use only.

Do not use outdoors.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Be careful while unpacking your 
new Ultra Food Chopper/Processor as the 
chopping blade is very sharp.

 Wash all 

parts before using for the first time to 
remove any dust or filth that may have 
accumulated while the appliance was in its 
original packaging. (See “CLEANING AND 
MAINTENANCE” section for further 
instructions).

PRIOR TO FIRST USE:

USING YOUR ULTRA FOOD CHOPPER/
PROCESSOR:

•  Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior 
of the base; do not immerse the base in 
water.
•  Adjust the Whisk as you prefer. 
Depending on the amount of ingredients 
you wish to chop, you may choose 
between two positions:

•  Remove all packaging materials.
•  Wash the Chopping bowl, Bowl cover, 
Whisk, and Chopping blade with warm, 
soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

•  To reduce the risk of injury, use 
accessory attachments only 
recommended by the appliance 
manufacturer. 

•  Do not use outdoors or while standing 
in a damp area. 

•  Do not let cord hang over the edge of 
table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. 

•  This unit is designed for processing 
small quantities of food for immediate 
consumption; larger quantities should be 
processed in small batches. 

•  To avoid possible injury, do not insert, 
remove, or touch blades when plugged 
into the electrical outlet. 

•  Do not place on or near a hot gas or 
electric burner, or in a heated oven. 

•  Check Chopping bowl for presence of 
foreign objects before operating. 

•  

This unit is designed for ‘pulse 

action’ use only. Avoid using it 
continuously for periods over 30 
seconds. 

•  To reduce the risk of injury, never place 
the chopping blade on base without first 
putting bowl properly in place. 

•  Before removing the Base/motor unit, 
be sure the Chopping blade has stopped 
turning completely. 

•  For safety, this unit will operate only 
when the Base/motor unit is properly 
placed. Do not attempt to defeat this 
interlocking system. 

•  Keep hands and utensils away from the 
chopping blade while processing food to 
reduce the risk of severe injury to persons 
or damage to the food chopper. A spatula 
may be used, but only when the food 
chopper is not running. 

•  

The chopping blade is extremely 

sharp. Handle carefully and keep out of 
reach of children.

•  To avoid fire hazards do not operate in 
the presence of explosive or flammable 
fumes. 

•  Do not use this appliance other than for 
its intended use.

•  Keep this food chopper in a dry and 
cool place.

•  Unplug from outlet when not in use, 
before putting on or taking off parts, and 
before cleaning.

•  

This appliance is not intended for use 

by persons (including children)with 
reduced physical, sensory or mental 
capabilities, or lack of experience and 
knowledge unless they are provided 
with supervision and instructions 
concerning use of the appliance by a 
person responsible for their safety.

•  Do not operate any appliance with a 
damaged cord or plug or after the 
appliance malfunctions, or has been 
damaged in any manner. 

•  To protect against electrical shock, do 
not place this unit including cord and plug 
in water or other liquid. See instructions 
for cleaning. 

•  

CAUTION!

 This appliance has a 

polarized plug (one blade is wider than the 
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, 
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only 
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the 
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not 
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not 
modify the plug in any way.

•  Read all instructions. 

•  Make sure that the voltage indicated on 
the rating plate of the appliance 
corresponds to your outlet voltage.
