 WARning! 

you must wear your full-body fall arrest harness system 

with the climbing belt attached prior to attempting to climb and/or 

remove your climbing system. you must be connected to the tree at all 

times during the removal of your climbing system, including the use 

of your climbing belt. Failure to follow these instructions may result in 

serious injury or death!

 WARning! 

Sectional ladders and steps shall be spaced on the tree to 

ensure each step is no more than 18 inches apart. Failure to follow these 

instructions may result in serious injury or death!

FIElD InstallatIon

Aerolite StiCkS

stEP 1:

 Make sure you are wearing your full-body fall arrest harness and 

climbing belt prior to installing your climbing system.

stEP 2:

 

Begin by opening the folded steps. Next, insert the long strap 

through buckle on short looped strap (Fig 2). Attach the lowest step 

section, nearest to the ground, using the Cam-Buckle strap to secure. Loop 

one end of cam-buckle strap around strap receiver and wrap other looped 

end around tree and bring the strap around the front of the step section 

and wrap loop around strap receiver. Pull strap tight. Before stepping onto 

section, pull the bottom of the step down with your free hand to “set” it 

into the tree (FIG. 3).

 WARning! 

Do not step onto or bounce on the step in attempt to set 

it. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death!
stEP 3:

 With your climbing belt attached around the tree and while 

standing on the bottom section, attach the next Aerolite Stick, again 

using the cam-buckle strap to secure, and pull the bottom of the step 

down with your free hand to “set.”

stEP 4: 

 Repeat Step 3 to continue adding any additional Aerolite Sticks.

reMoViNG YoUr Aerolite StiCkS

stEP 1:

 Make sure you are wearing your full-body fall arrest harness and 

climbing belt prior to removing your climbing system.

stEP 2: 

With your climbing belt attached around the tree and while 

standing on a lower Aerolite Stick, disengage the Cam-Buckle strap of 

the section above you and lower the Aerolite Stick to the ground.

stEP 3: 

Climb down to the bottom Aerolite Stick repeating Step 2.

stEP 4: 

Climb down onto the ground and disengage the final Cam-

Buckle strap assembly.

system’s mainframe. Wrap the attached 

snap buckle strap around the stand and 

secure. See Fig. 1 and 1A.
