Console Redirection
Console Redrecton operates n host systems that do not have a montor and
keyboard attached. Ths settng enables/dsables the operaton of console re-
drecton. When set to [Enabled], BIOS redrects and sends all contents that
should be dsplayed on the screen to the seral COM port for dsplay on the
termnal screen. Besdes, all data receved from the seral port s nterpreted
as keystrokes from a local keyboard.
Console Redirection Settings
Press <Enter> to enter the submenu.
Terminal Type
To operate the system’s console redrecton, you need a termnal supportng
ANSI termnal protocol and a RS-232 null modem cable connected between
the host system and termnal(s). Ths settng specfes the type of termnal
devce for console redrecton.
Bits per second, Data Bits, Parity, Stop Bits
Ths settng specfes the transfer rate (bts per second, data bts, party,
stop bts) of Console Redrecton.
Flow Control
Flow control s the process of managng the rate of data transmsson be-
tween two nodes. It’s the process of adjustng the flow of data from one
devce to another to ensure that the recevng devce can handle all of the
ncomng data. Ths s partcularly mportant where the sendng devce s ca-
pable of sendng data much faster than the recevng devce can receve t.
VT-UTF8 Combo Key Support
Ths settng enables/dsables VT-UTF8 Combo Key Support.
Recorder Mode, Resolution 100x31
These settngs enable/dsable the recorder mode and the resoluton
100x31.
Legacy OS Redirection Resolution
Ths settng specfes the redrecton resoluton of legacy OS.
Putty KeyPad
Ths settng specfes the type of Putty KeyPad.
Redirection After BIOS POST
Ths settng specfes the Redrecton confguraton after BIOS POST.

Set the Redrecton to be actve durng
POST and Boot Loader
[Always Enable]
Set the Redrecton to be always actve
