OnChip SATA Type
This setting specifies the SATA operation mode.
If OnChp SATA Type s set to RAID, please set OPTION ROM as below:
[Read Cache Setting]
There are two read cache settngs. You make ths settng when you create a
logcal drve or under logcal drve settngs.
Read Cache – The read cache s enabled.
Read Ahead Cache – Enables the read cache and the read-ahead fea-
ture. Read-ahead antcpates the next read and performs t before the
request s made. Can ncrease read performance.
No Cache – The read cache s dsabled.
[Write Cache Setting]
There are two wrte cache settngs. You make ths settng when you create a
logcal drve or under logcal drve settngs.
Write Back – Data is written first to the cache, then to the logical drive.
Better performance. Requres a cache backup battery to protect data n
the cache from a sudden power falure.
Wrte Through – Data s wrtten to the cache and the logcal drve at the
same tme. Safer.
