Chapter 1

9.  Evenly spread a thn layer of thermal paste (or thermal tape) on the top of the CPU. 

Ths wll help n heat dsspaton and prevent CPU overheatng.

10. Locate the CPU fan connector on the manboard.

11. Place the heatsnk on the manboard wth the fan’s wres facng towards the fan 

connector and the screws matchng the holes on the socket.

12. Usng a screwdrver tghten the four captve screws (9 nch-pounds).

13. Fnally,  attach  the  CPU  fan  cable 

to  the  CPU  fan  connector  on  the 

manboard.
