Onboard Serial Port 1/2
These items specify the base I/O port address of the onboard Serial Port 1
(COM 1)/Serial Port 2 (COM 2). Setting to Auto allows BIOS to automatically
determine the correct base I/O port address. Available options are Auto,
3F8/IRQ4 , 2F8/IRQ3 , 3E8/IRQ4 , 2E8/IRQ3 and Disabled . Default is Auto .
If you have ISA add-on card, the suggested configuration is as the
following:
UART Mode Select
The item allows you to determine which Infra Red (IR) function of the
onboard I/O chip. Settings are Normal (default), IrDA and ASKIR .
