If a MAO module is used to output sensor signals, there are
three different ways of analogue signal behavior for inhibited
inputs:
• pass: The received measurement values are sent on.
• hold: The last measured value before inhibiting occurred is
retained.
• maintain: The signal goes to the maintenance level (corre-
sponds to 3.0 mA).
The setting is essential for all measuring points in the whole
system.
Operating
Mode
Display, Stan-

Shows the current operating mode of the SUPREMATouch
system. Only two operating modes are available:
‘Standard’ for all countries except China and ‘GB16808-2008’
which is only for use in China. All information, including the
approval information in this manual refer to the
Standard oper-
ating mode.
OK Button
Tap this button to accept the settings entered. After the button
is tapped, the parameters are immediately checked to see if
they are valid. If the parameters are valid, they become part of
the system’s parameter set. If they are not valid, a warning
appears.
Cancel Button Tapping this button cancels the settings entered.
