2.5 Multiple Repeaters
The system is capable of four repeaters to be placed in strategic locations for optimal performance.
Strategic locations for repeaters are, e.g.:
• Entrance area of a building
• Top of the basement staircase
• Bottom of a staircase
• Sharp corner in a corridor or a tunnel
• Where the M1 Control Module loses radio connection to the hub (see M1 Control Module operating
manual on the product page at

Make sure that minimum one repeater is within the range of the HUB. In case of poor or loss of connection a repeater
must be placed. For more information on signal reception see Entry Control Board operating manual on the product
page at
www.MSAsafety.com .
System capability to repeat SCBAs:
Repeater position 1 : up to 18 x M1 Control Modules
Repeater position 2 : up to 14 x M1 Control Modules
Repeater position 3 : up to 10 x M1 Control Modules
Repeater position 4 : up to 6 x M1 Control Modules
With the number of repeated devices the bandwidth of the system might be reduced.
NOTE: Logon/logoff is only possible directly at the Enty Control Board.
