2.16 Installing the Shoulder Strap
(1) If present, place the shoulder pad on the shoulder strap.
(2) Connect the shoulder strap hook to the carrier assembly.
(3) Install the regulator hose (See Installing the Regulator Hose
Assembly for instructions).
(4) Weave the pull strap through the friction buckle.
a) Pass the pull strap from back to front through the buckle.
b) Pass the strap over the bar and from front to back through
the buckle.
NOTE:
Make sure the stiffener is properly oriented.
(5) Install the waist strap (See Installing the Waist Strap for
instructions).
