Operation
5.2.1
During normal operation the MGS-401 will monitor the connected gas detector(s) and display the
monitored location gas concentration as provided by the gas detectors in the location. If the gas
detectors in the monitored area respond to any preset alarm level or a fault occurs on the system the
MGS-401 Entrance Monitor will display that information on the LCD and respond with audible and visual
alarms, configured relay response and other countermeasures that are connected or configured. The
following graphic shows details of a single configured gas detector.
