General Maintenance

Clean the Inlet Water Filter:

1. Drain the water heater
2. Take out the ﬁlter by turning it counterclockwise.

(See Fig. 20.2)

3. Rinse the ﬁlter with clean water, brush or wipe it when necessary.
4. Insert the cleaned ﬁlter and tighten it by turning clockwise.
