MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
BMW R nineT 2014-
Thank you for buying a MRA Windshield.
Read this manual carefully and check the parts list for completeness before you begin. We recommend
that you have your screen fitted by an authorised workshop.

Mounting the windscreen onto the motorcycle:
1. Place the motorcycle on a flat surface.
2. Remove the top fork clamping screws.
3. If you have installed the same fork bridge as shown in figures 1 and 2, you require the Allen screws
M8 x 55 mm and the 15 mm spacers.
If you have installed the same fork bridge as shown in figure 3, you require
the Allen screws M8 x 40 mm and the 10 mm spacers.
4. Now, insert the determined Allen screw through the bore hole of the retaining plate along with the
black washer, and place the determined spacer against it from the back (P4).
5. Then apply the rubber nuts to the retaining plates (P5).
6. Fit the retaining plates onto the fork bridge, align the retaining plates so that they are even, and
carefully tighten the 8 mm Allen screw with
19 Nm
(P5 + P6).
7. Insert the 5x16 mm Allen screws with the plastic washers through the MRA windscreen.
8. Put the MRA windscreen into position and tighten the Allen screws.
After installation, check that all of the screws are tight; tighten them up if necessary. Repeat this at
regular intervals. Clean the screen with water, neutral soap and a sponge. Do not use solvents, alcohol or
spirits to clean the screen as they will damage it.
