
Congratulations with the purchase of your mr Safe Battery/Accu Checker. The Battery/Accu Checker
represents the latest technology in battery testing and analyzing and will provide you quickly with
accurate results using wireless technology.
1.
General advice and installation notes
Read the manual and safety notes carefully before installing the mr Safe Battery/Accu Checker. If
you have any doubts, contact your qualified auto/truck electrician or mechanic.
WARNING: if the car battery is disconnected, it is possible that some management systems will be
disabled!
Extra tools may be needed for the installation
Check your vehicle manual for more information about the installation
WARNING: do not install on moving, sharp, hot or unsuitable surfaces!

General information
The power source must provide 12/24 Volts DC and must be able to supply the necessary current to
operate the load. The power source may be a battery or a well-regulated 12/24V DC power supply.
CAUTION: the mr Safe Battery/Accu Checker must be connected only to batteries with a nominal
output voltage of 12/24V. The unit is designed to operate with specific voltage battery. Please check
and ensure the matching of the power input before using the mr Safe Battery/Accu Checker.
Please check whether the battery voltage meets the requirements specified on the Battery/Accu
Checker rating plate. Verify that the power source is at least fuse-protected at 15A (12V) or 7.5A
(24V).
If these conditions are met, please use the 12/24V cable provided to make the connection at the
battery of the car/truck etc.

App
Download the free mr Safe Battery/Accu Checker from the Apple store (iOS devices) or the Google
Play Store (Android devices).
When you are using the app for the first time, you need to register with your mobile phone number.
(See (6) for detailed first time use) You will receive a verification code, type this in and choose your
password.
NOTE: The Wi-Fi function cannot be used with this device.
Open the app and click “+ Add”. Scan the QR-code on the back of your mr Safe Battery/Accu
checker.

Connecting
NOTE: make sure that the vehicle engine and any electrical loads are “OFF”!

Verify the ignition key is turned OFF and that no flammable fumes are present.

Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal
pole. The Battery/Accu Checker switches on when both connections are made.

Ensure a good connection by connecting the
eyelets (m6 size 6mm /1/4” diameter)
around the
terminals. The Battery/Accu Checker requires that both sides of each clamp are properly connected
before testing can take place. When there is a poor connection, the status screen will display “ no
info”. If this happens, clean the battery terminals and clamps and reconnect.
