Install the Blue Alert Gold software on your PC. 

You can find this CD in the box

This CD contains download software. This software enables your PC to download the database 

with camera locations into your Blue Alert Gold.

Go to www.mrhandsfree.com to download the database into your Blue Alert Gold.

8.  Connect the Blue Alert Gold with the USB cable to your PC.

9.  Download the database into your Blue Alert Gold.

INSTALLATION OF THE BLUE ALERT GOLD

You have  installation options: on the sun visor (a) and on the dashboard (b)

a) On the sun visor (see illustration II):

=> How to change display for sun visor position?

In the menu, there is an option to turn the information 

on the display in the good position for sun visor mounting.

• Press the MENU-button  times until “Ud.OF” appears on the display 

(Ud = ‘Upside down’)

• Press the ADD/DEL button to change the direction (On= upside down). 

=> LED brightness:

When you choose to mount the Blue Alert Gold on your car’s sun visor, the information on the display could be rather bright for your 

eyes, especially when driving at night. How to adjust the LED brightness?

• Press the MENU-button 3 times until “LEd 3” appears on the display.

• Press the ADD/DEL button to set the LED brightness:  = low brightness,  = middle brightness, 3 = high brightness

b) On the dashboard (see illustration V):

Fix the Blue Alert Gold on the dashboard using the non slip rubber pads or Velcro strips (see ‘illustration V’)

1. Non slip rubber pads

: The rubber pads (= non slip) will help preventing the Blue Alert Gold from slipping on the dashboard.

2. Velcro strips 

Installation tips:

• Make sure the dashboard is clean and free of dust or grease before sticking the Velcro strips! (for dashboard mount)

• Make sure the unit is clean and free of dust or grease before placing the non slip parts. (for dashboard mount)

• For optimal performance, the microphone should always be located at a maximum distance of 50 cm from the driver’s mouth.

• The LED-screen with built-in microphone should be directed to the driver.

Make sure that the mounting cannot cause any damage to your body or your passengers body in case of an accident or 

unexpected movement !
