- After switching the appliance on operating due to a battery, a red lamp shall light on signalizing
the appliance’s operation.
Battery operation time optimizing
- Two times a year discharge battery completely – start the engine and wait until it stops
- Do not leave the charger plugged in if it is not charged
- If the appliance has not been used for a long time it must be charged 8 hours.
HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE
- Before cutting make sure a head of a person, whose hair is to be cut, is at your chest level.
- To attain best results use the appliance when hair is dry.
- Do not use the appliance to cut hair already washed.
- First, comb the hair as it grows up.
- Move the appliance in opposite direction to the hair growth; otherwise it will not cut the hair
properly.
- Move the appliance slowly.
Note: The appliance is equipped with two add-on devices to cut the hair, cutting range 4 – 16 mm
and 18-30. Regulation of cutting range is provided by the regulating ring (positions 1 to 5).
1. Insert relevant add-on device (7) on the pins (“click”).
2. Set the cutting range using the regulating ring (8); set the position (1 – 5).
3. Switch on the appliance using the “ON” button.
4. A red control lap shall shine – appliance operating.
Cutting range setting
1. Length of hair is marked on the left arm of the add-on cutting device, it is given in mm and
responds to the length of hair after cutting.
2. Set the regulating ring starting from position 1 to 5, where 1 means the shortest hair and 5 the
longest hair. The ring is equipped with protection from accidental alteration of the cutting range.
Setting each of the cutting ranges is signalized by growing resistance when setting the ring.
3. Move the appliance different directions in order to obtain equal length of hair.
4. Make sure that the flat part of the cutting add-on device always touches the head; hair shall be
cut equally.
5. In order to attain good result of cutting in case of curly hair, thin or long and thin hair one may
use a comb (4) in order to keep the hair.
6. During the cutting regularly remove hair from the comb and the add-on device.
Accurate outline without use of the cutting accessories
1. To cut the area above the neck and around ears one may use the appliance without the cutting
add-on device.
2. Remove the cutting add-on device pulling it quickly.
3. During cutting without the cutting add-on device one must be careful since all hair shall be cut.
4. Before outlining the hair around the ears comb ends of hair above the ears.
5. Incline the appliance in such manner than a single edge of cutting element touches the ends of
hair.
6. Cut gently ends of the hair only. Line of hair should be close to ears.
7. In order to outline the hair on the neck turn the appliance round and push it downwards.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES
1. Clean the appliance after each use.
2. To clean the appliance do not use tearing agents or liquids such as alcohol, kerosene or acetone.
3. Make sure the appliance has been switched off and the DC rectifier is unplugged.
4. Remove the cutting add-on device.
