Firmware Upgrade Procedure
Moxa engineers continuously enhance software features to improve the quality and functionality
of Moxa’s embedded products, and the most up-to-date version of the firmware is posted in
Moxa’s download center. After you download the firmware to your work station, take the
following steps to upgrade the firmware.
1.
Upload this file to the target machine under the root directory (i.e., \). If you place this file on
a CompactFlash or a USB device, copy it to the root directory first for a faster upgrade.
Executing the program from a USB 1.1 device will take much longer.
2.
Log on to the target computer through a Telnet or console connection.
3.
Execute the program from the command prompt.
