Hydraulic system: The user instructions and warnings indicated by the oil supplier should be
used and complied with. We recommend hydraulic oil with a viscosity of 25-50 cSt. (According
to ISO 4406) Make sure the system is not pressurised before carrying out maintenance to the
system. The hydraulic system should be inspected annually. Items to focus on include: unusual
noises, temperatures, operating hours, pressure settings, the oil level and all attachment devi-
ces should be checked. Changing the oil after 1600 operating hours is recommended.
Hydraulic oil can be hazardous to your health
Contact with the skin can cause allergies
Inhalation of oil vapours can seriously damage the lungs
Oil leaking under high operating pressure can cause serious physical injury.
i. Towing the Movexx in a train
• Place the Movexx with the towing hook behind the train.
• Check that the magnetic brake is disengaged.
• Always make sure that the machine stays switched on and connected to
sufficient voltage. Otherwise the brake will lock.
Always make sure that the battery is charged sufficiently when the Movexx is
towed. (Red light should not be on) Always make sure that the machine is on
when towed. Otherwise the brake will lock.
j. Storing of the Movexx (for a longer period)
• Remove the power-pack from the chassis and store it on a dry, frost free
place.
• Charge the battery once a month. This has to be done in order to prevent the
power-pack from discharging itself and becoming unusable.
• Place the chassis of the Movexx on a safe place.
• Take the key out of the contact and store it in a safe place.
k. Dismantling/discarding
Dismantling/discarding the Movexx needs to be done on an environmentally friendly/safe way
according to your governmental policies.
